Transitions, am i right? Back indoors!

Hi Folks!

Friday Oct 2nd was our last Music Session in the Park.  The funny songs were funny (sometimes for reasons other than the lyrics)!  Weather was quite pleasant.  We really were lucky to have so many clear Sunny days throughout September.

Today was our first meeting back at St. Columba Presbyterian Church!  The morning session went really well!

Shelagh (the OT) did a variety of creative stretching and strengthening exercises for our hands and upper body.  Everything’s connected, and it will be interesting to see the unexpected ways these exercises help over time.

Speaking of connected…

Melanie’s exercise session complimented the OT session with a focus on our shoulders, and all the big and small muscles that support the shoulder.

One benefit to the physical distancing during today’s sessions:  you could really stretch out without worrying about bumping into the person sitting beside you!

Todays Gallery will contain a mix of last week’s music session, and today’s morning meeting.  This way people who couldn’t make it, can see how spacious it is.  Plus, the sound travels really well in there!
