Another successful Parksville Qualicum Fish & Game Association Fundraiser was held March 24 at the Dorman Range. Club shooters were out in full force having a great time while supporting Oceanside Stroke Recovery therapy programs. Oceanside Stroke Recovery volunteers were on hand to help prepare and serve lunch as well as help at the registration table. Thanks to Genelle Guthrie, Kathy Eades and Kathy’s sister, Nancy Paruch for their expertise in the kitchen! Not to be forgotten, Marie Randall was the OSR person behind the registration desk helping Dianne Upper who we understand came out of retirement to do the registration for our event. To top off the day, Bob Davenport invited Oceanside Stroke Recovery members to join the club members for lunch. Oceanside Stroke Recovery Society is very grateful to be partnered with such a caring group of people.
