A very special guest came to visit with Oceanside Stroke Recovery members! MONK is a west coast Canadian artist with a primary studio on spectacular Rathtrevor Beach, located in Parksville and a Gallery/studio across from the Beach Club in central Parksville. MONK’s energy, creativity, joy and reverence for all of creation shone through as this wonderful person shared personal stories with us.

MONK is frequently found painting out on Rathtrevor Beach, or at Monk Art Gallery and Studio in downtown Parksville. People often seek MONK out to work on collaborative pieces and add their brush strokes and signatures to a truly original work of art.
