Hand and Finger Exercises

Our Occupational Therapist Shelagh Lamperson spent time showing our members some hand/finger exercises to help reduce tone and allow the stroke affected side to recover. Shelagh suggests doing these exercises three times a day. They can be practiced passively (by using your non-affected hand to assist your affected hand) until you can practice them actively (by performing them on your own).

Some of the exercises OT Shelagh shared are included in this FlintRehab link.
