W O W!  That was quite a fun fishing event hosted by the PQB Fishing and Game Club (www.pqfg.org)!  The weather, the company, and the location… made for a splendidly beautiful day.

The Fishing Forever Event took place on Sunday, May 28, at Spider Lake. The event began at 10:00 a.m. and lasted until 1:00 p.m..

The event had some generous sponsors (Quality Foods, Fish and Game) who provided a delicious picnic lunch prepared by the event organizer, Jamie Sudyko, along with hot coffee, bottles of water, juice, fruit and cookies.

The B. C. Wildlife Federation are also sponsors of this event and gave participants hats with the Fishing Forever Logo on the front.

It is so kind of the Parksville /Qualicum Fish and Game Club and Jamie Sudyko (who organizes this event each year) to do this for our folks.

Special thanks to the Fishing Forever volunteers who provided lessons in baiting our hooks, casting, etc. (they were also a great help in untangling our lines when necessary), and to Wayne Duke for taking so many amazing pictures and sharing them with us (see below):
